Perfectomundo Anejo Tequila (750ml)

Perfectomundo Añejo was founded by Andy Garcia, the actor and musician. It is a small-batch sipping tequila, distilled in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber Agave. It ages three years across charred French oak, American oak, and bourbon casks. The result is an unusually elegant añejo, closer to a bright cognac than to a rustic tequila.

Mood: Amber, warming, refined.

Tasting Notes

It opens with toasted vanilla, cooked agave, and warm caramel under a soft dusting of oak spice. The mid-palate is round and honeyed, showing baked apple, butterscotch, and a light peppery lift that comes from the American oak. The finish is long and mellow, with dried orange peel, cocoa, and a whisper of bourbon char.

Food Pairing

It is at its best neat in a snifter, or over a single large cube. It stands up to a steakhouse ribeye and works beautifully after dessert with dark chocolate or espresso. For those who want to build with it, it makes a top-shelf Old Fashioned.
