Yarden Merlot (750ml)

Golan Heights Winery, the producer that put Israeli wine on the world map in 1983, bottles its flagship wines under the Yarden label. Within the Yarden lineup, the Merlot is the soft, food-friendly side, plummy and polished from oak.

Tasting notes

Ripe plum and black cherry come with sweet vanilla and a hint of cocoa. It is medium-to-full, with silky tannin, dark fruit, and spice led by the oak. The finish is long and smooth, and plum and vanilla linger.

Food pairing

Serve it with roast chicken, mushroom risotto, or Shabbos brisket, or at any Yom Tov table that wants a polished red.
