Yarden 2T (750ml)

Yarden 2T is an experimental blend of Portuguese grapes from the Golan Heights Winery. It is made from Touriga Nacional and Tinta Cao planted at altitude in the Geshur and Yonatan Springs vineyards. These grapes usually make Port, so a dry red from them is rare.

Tasting notes

Ripe cherry, blackberry, and stewed plum with baking spice and dark chocolate. It is full-bodied, with rich dark fruit, baking spice, and earthy depth. The finish is long and warming, and violet and chocolate hold on.

Food pairing

Serve with slow-braised short ribs, lamb tagine, or aged cheeses on a dairy night. It also suits Yom Tov tables that want something different.
