Tasting Notes
The colour is deep ruby-garnet. The nose shows strawberry preserve, morello cherry, red currant and warm sweet spice. Lush and viscous on the palate, it has concentrated red berry, cherry cordial, a whisper of vanilla, and just enough acidity to stay fresh. The finish is long, sweet-tart and unforgettable.
Food Pairing
Pour it with dark-chocolate torte, cherry clafoutis, or a real Yom Tov cheese board with aged blue. It is also a striking choice for Rosh Hashanah dessert, and a very memorable seudah gift.
