This Heartland Blend gets real spine from twelve months in French oak. Give it a full hour in a decanter and pour it with brisket.
Tasting notes
The nose shows plum, ripe blackcurrant and toasted oak. On the palate it is full-bodied, with firm tannin, layered dark fruit and a lift of vanilla. A long finish with soft spice.
Food pairing
Made for roast lamb, grilled ribeye, cholent, brisket, or aged hard cheeses.
