A grape usually reserved for blending gets an unusual solo-varietal bottling in Tishbi Vineyards Petit Verdot. The Tishbi family grows it in Zichron Ya'akov, and the wine is smooth, medium-bodied, and certified vegan.

Tasting Notes
Plum, blackberries, and ripe cherries lift out of the glass in concentrated form. Light tannins carry a plush core of dark fruit across a medium-bodied palate. It finishes clean and smooth, and it lingers.
Food Pairing
It belongs next to Shabbos brisket, grilled ribeye, herb-crusted lamb, or a slow-cooked cholent. A cheese board or a rich mushroom risotto suits it as well.
