Tasting notes
The color is deep ruby, and the nose brings ripe blackcurrant, plum jam, and cedar. Semi-sweet and medium-full on the palate, it shows cassis and black cherry around a soft caramel-vanilla midpoint. It finishes soft, with a gentle sweetness.
Food pairing
Pour it for Shabbos kiddush, or with gefilte fish, chicken soup, lighter meat mains, kugels, and sweet-side desserts. It is great for guests who do not drink dry wine.
