Tabor's Adama line - Hebrew for 'earth' - terroir-driven Cabernet from the Upper Galilee, twelve months in oak, the bottle the winery built its name on.

Mood: The Tuesday-night Cab that still feels serious. The dinner-party red where the host wants Israeli without spending top-shelf.

Our sommelier says
Medium ruby. The nose is fruit-led and classic - black cherry, blackcurrant, a quiet oak signature from twelve months in barrel. The Adama series is built around terroir - the Upper Galilee gives this Cab a cooler-climate lift than southern Israeli versions, with the alcohol staying composed at 13%. Medium-bodied with rounded tannin and a fruit core that doesn't ask anything difficult of the drinker. Drinks well now without ceremony.

Tasting notes

Black cherry, blackcurrant, soft oak, gentle spice. Medium body, rounded tannin, fruit-led, easy texture. Clean, fruit-driven, gently spicy.

Food pairing

Roast chicken, grilled steak, Friday-night brisket, lamb kebabs, hard cheese (after the wait).
