Pescaja Barbera Soliter (750ml)

Pescaja Soliter is a Barbera d'Asti from a single vineyard on the small Pescaja estate in Piedmont. It is classical Piedmontese Barbera at its best, with high acidity and bright red fruit.

Tasting notes

Ripe red cherry and plum lift from the nose, with a soft violet lift over a light savory edge. On the palate it is lively and medium-bodied, with red-fruit weight and a whisper of dried herb, and the classic bright acidity of Barbera carries through soft, ripe tannins. The finish is clean and long, with a lingering note of red cherry and a subtle grip of earth.

Food pairing

Pasta bolognese, veal, herbed chicken, hard cheeses, and rich pasta dishes are its classical partners. It can also stand up to roast and Shabbos brisket.
