A Kentucky straight bourbon distilled by Fred Noe — 7th-generation Jim Beam master distiller — and blended by Shinji Fukuyo, only the 5th chief blender in Suntory's history. Part of the bourbon is finished in wine and sherry casks before Fukuyo blends it back with other Kentucky straight bourbons. Launched in 2019 as the first collaboration bottling between Beam and Suntory.
Mood: Bridged, considered, warm.

Tasting notes
Nose of caramel, vanilla, baking spices, dried fruit and subtle oak. Palate of honey, cherry, spice and a touch of wine-cask sweetness. Long, warm finish.
Food pairing
Grilled steak, smoked brisket, aged cheddar, or a classic Old Fashioned.
