Lavie Koffee Espresso Liqueur (Small Bottle 375ml)

Lavie Distillery makes Lavie Koffee, its parve espresso liqueur, in Gush Etzion. Roasted coffee beans are macerated in alcohol, which gives a deep, aromatic pour. It is kosher and Pesach-approved without legume concerns. This 375ml is the half-size gift bottle.

Mood: Aromatic. Dark. After-Dinner.

Tasting notes

Deep roasted coffee and cocoa rise from the glass, with a soft caramel note sitting over warm baking spice. On the palate it is smooth and lightly sweet, with rich espresso weight, cocoa, and a subtle vanilla note on a silky texture. It finishes long and warm, a coffee bitterness lingering before a soft sweet close.

Food pairing

Pour it on a rock over ice, or splash it into a parve espresso martini once a Yom Tov meat meal is done. It is beautiful with dark chocolate and honey cake, and it also makes the base of a parve tiramisu-style dessert.
