Classico is the everyday-table flagship of Flam, the Judean Hills boutique. It is a Bordeaux-style blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon and framed in ten months of oak. The family winery went kosher in 2010, and the Classico has set the bar ever since.
Mood: Polished, Balanced, Mediterranean
Tasting notes
Black cherry and blackcurrant with sweet cedar and a hint of Mediterranean herb. It is silky and medium-bodied, with fine-grained tannin, ripe red and black fruit, and a savory thread. The finish is long and elegant, and cedar and herb hold on.
Food pairing
Serve with standing roast, lamb tagine, or Shabbos brisket. It suits Yom Tov tables that want a serious red without weight.
