This Anejo tequila comes from the Los Altos highlands and rests twelve months in American oak. It is smoother and richer than the Reposado, and it carries the workhorse good value Espolon is known for.

Tasting notes
Caramel, vanilla, baked apple, and light oak on the nose. It is medium-bodied, with toffee, soft pepper, and cooked agave inside a clean oak frame. The finish is warming and of medium length, ending on vanilla and gentle spice.
Food pairing
Sip it neat or on the rocks, mix a quality Old Fashioned riff, or pour it with a steakhouse meal.
