Dalton's single-vineyard Meron is bottled only in exceptional years, drawing fruit from the cool foothills of Mount Meron. The terroir gives the wine its signature eucalyptus and mint thread on top of textbook Galilee Cabernet structure.
Mood: Exceptional, Mountain, Patient
Our sommelier says
A vintage-by-vintage single-vineyard Cab — Galilee mountain terroir in the glass.
Tasting notes
Cassis, eucalyptus, mint, sweet cedar, and dark chocolate. Full-bodied with velvety tannin, ripe black fruit, and a cool mineral lift. Long and fruity, with eucalyptus and oak fading slowly.
Food pairing
Lamb shoulder, prime rib, Shabbos brisket, and Yom Tov tables that want an Israeli flagship Cab.
