Dalton's Galilee take on the southern Rhone GSM — Grenache leading, Syrah for spine, Mourvedre for the savory close. Aged in French oak, generous and Mediterranean.

Mood: Garrigue, blue fruit, warm stone.

Tasting notes

Blueberry, black pepper, garrigue herb, sweet oak. Full-bodied with rounded tannins, layered blue and red fruit, and a peppery savory mid-palate. Long and warming; finishes on dried herb and dark berry.

Food pairing

Lamb chops, merguez, slow-cooked stew, hard sheep's milk cheeses.
