This is Jeff Morgan's flagship, a Napa Valley Cabernet that is bottled non-Mevushal, without flash pasteurization and without shortcuts. It is the kosher Cab that can be poured next to the best of Napa, full stop.

Mood: Serious, structured, Napa.

Tasting notes

Cassis, graphite and cedar come with a thread of dried herb. The wine is full-bodied and tightly woven, holding concentrated black fruit, fine-grained tannin, and a savory mineral core. It finishes long, dry and grippy, and is built to age for a decade more.

Food pairing

Serve it with standing rib roast, slow-braised short ribs, dry-aged steak, or aged hard cheese.
