Contessa Annalisa Carino Bianco (750ml)

The Carino red has a semi-sweet white sister in Contessa Annalisa Carino Bianco, a blend of Pinot Grigio and Glera made to win over the whole table at the first pour. It is mevushal, kosher for Passover, and impossible to be shy about.

Mood: Soft. Floral. Easy.

Tasting notes

White peach, nectarine, and a soft jasmine note lift the nose. On the palate it is round and gently sweet, as ripe pear and stone fruit carry through to a soft, off-dry mid-palate. It finishes short, clean, and lightly floral, leaving room for the next glass.

Food pairing

Chill it well and serve with dairy Shabbos lunches, blintzes, herb salads, roast chicken, and Sephardic fish courses. It is also a natural with Shavuos cheesecake.
