Chateau Malartic Lagraviere Pessac-Leognan (750ml)

This is the kosher cuvee from the Pessac-Leognan classed growth. Cabernet Sauvignon leads and Merlot rounds it out, with ageing in French oak under OU supervision. It is savory, polished, and Graves beyond any doubt.

Mood: Smoke, gravel, ceremony.

Tasting notes

Woodsmoke, black currant, dried herb and pencil shaving. Firm tannins on a medium-to-full frame, with savory mineral notes under layers of dark fruit. Grippy and long, ending on dark cherry, cedar and graphite.

Food pairing

Slow-cooked short rib, rack of lamb, hard aged cheeses, or the Pesach seder.
