Tasting Notes
On the nose there is cranberry, red cherry, and a whisper of rose petal, with a light lift of damp earth. On the palate it is smooth and light-bodied, and a gentle acidity and red-berry fruit carry through. The finish is clean and soft, with low tannin, and it is easy to sip.
Food Pairing
It crosses over from weeknight to Shabbos, with salmon en croute, roast chicken, mushroom pasta, sushi, or chicken salad at Shabbos lunch. It holds up to dried fruit and hard cheeses too.
