Allied Importers' kosher-Italian house label is Cantine del Borgo Reale, and the fruit for this Pinot Grigio comes from the Delle Venezie IGT. That is the trio of regions in northeastern Italy (Veneto, Friuli, Trentino-Alto Adige) behind the country's most recognized Pinot Grigios. It is fermented cold in stainless steel so the grape keeps its freshness, and it is mevushal-certified, which gives full flexibility at the Shabbos table.

Tasting Notes

Pear and green apple, with a top note of lemon zest and a faint mineral lift. It is bone dry and the acidity is brisk, with white peach, tart Granny Smith apple, and a saline mineral streak running down the middle.
