A Michter's prestige Legacy Series release named for the original 1753 distillery owner. Aged in Chinquapin oak air-dried for 36 months before toasting — a small allocation, a serious price tag, and a cult following.

Tasting notes

Dark fruit, toasted nuts, maple, baking spice, oak char. Full-bodied and viscous, with fig jam, brown sugar, cocoa, layered oak and warming spice. Long and warming; finishes on dark chocolate, dried fig, and pepper.

Neat in a Glencairn; with a hand-rolled cigar; alongside dark chocolate.
