Binyamina's fruit comes from hillside vineyards in the Galilee, where cool nights tighten the tannin and lock in red-fruit lift. Reserve is their step-up tier, with bigger fruit and longer barrel time, and it is still kosher-friendly at any Shabbos table.
Tasting notes
Crushed black cherry and ripe plum come first, lifted by a curl of cocoa powder and toasted brioche from the oak. Through the middle it is silky and luxurious, with ripe redcurrant and forest-berry fruit framed by a firm tannic spine and an earthy undertow. The close is long and savory, with cedar, dark chocolate, and a final brush of cured-meat spice.
Food pairing
Serve it with slow-braised brisket, with Friday-night roast chicken and za'atar potatoes, or with hard cheeses at kiddush.
