The classic amber rum of the family, Bacardi Gold is distilled in Cataño, Puerto Rico and then mellowed in toasted American oak. It is warm gold in the glass and comes in at the familiar 40% ABV.

Sommelier's Note
For the home bar, this is the workhorse gold rum. Star-K lists unflavored rum as acceptable without certification, so this bottle pours kosher even with no symbol on the label.
Tasting Notes
The nose is led by notes of ripe banana, toasted oak, and vanilla. On the palate it is lightly sweet and smooth, with tropical fruit, caramel, and a warming spice. The finish is clean and short, gently warming, with a touch of toasted oak.
Food Pairing
Use it in a Mai Tai, Cuba Libre, or pineapple punch, or have it neat over ice with a wedge of lime.
