Bacan Guaro 24 Aguardiente (700ml)

Bacan Guaro 24 is an aguardiente from Cali, in Colombia's Valle del Cauca, made from first-press organic sugarcane juice, organic Spanish star anise and water. It is distilled five times in small batches of under 1,000 liters and bottled sugar-free.

Mood: anise, silky, festive.

Tasting notes

Sweet anise on the nose with a subtle hint of citrus. Silky on the first sip, with black licorice and delicate herbal and floral layers. The finish is calm, with a lingering spice.

Food pairing

Serve it chilled, neat or over ice, for a l'chaim at the kiddush or after a meat meal. It also mixes well with tonic and lime, and suits grilled meats, ceviche and mezze.
