This is the reference-point arak for the Sephardic table, made from grape distillate and fresh aniseed and nothing else. It clouds milky-white when you add water.

Tasting notes
Bright anise and fennel pollen, with a touch of fresh grape. Smooth and gently sweet, led by anise. A clean, fresh finish with a subtle licorice trail.
