Teperberg Vision Shiraz is the entry-tier Israeli Shiraz from Teperberg, the oldest family-owned winery in the country. It counts among the workhorse Shabbos reds, and it is good value for everyday drinking.

Tasting notes

Ripe blackberry and plum lift from the nose, with a soft peppery note over a light edge of spice. On the palate it is smooth and medium-bodied, with dark-fruit weight, a whisper of vanilla oak, and soft, ripe tannins. The finish is warm and clean, and a note of pepper lingers.

Food pairing

Cholent, grilled meats, brisket, and Shabbos meat courses are natural matches. It is also comfortable next to hard cheeses and mushroom kugel.
