Sonoma Loeb Dignitary Pinot Noir is a mevushal California Pinot from Sonoma County, aged in French oak in the classic Burgundian style. A rare kosher Pinot with real varietal grace, from the sister project to the celebrated Sonoma Loeb Cabernet.
Mood: Elegant. Silky. Serious.
Tasting notes
The nose lifts fresh red cherry, wild strawberry, and a delicate note of forest floor over a soft vanilla oak edge. The palate is medium-bodied and silky, with red-fruit weight, a whisper of baking spice, and a gentle savory earthiness carried on fine, refined tannins. The finish is long and clean, with a lingering red-fruit note and a subtle mineral grip.
Food pairing
A natural pour with roast duck, grilled salmon, herb chicken, mushroom risotto, and mid-week meat courses. Also comfortable with hard cheeses and a Yom Tov brunch.
