Sonoma Loeb Dignitary Pinot Noir comes from Sonoma County, a mevushal California Pinot aged in French oak in the classic Burgundian style. It is the sister project to the celebrated Sonoma Loeb Cabernet, and a rare kosher Pinot with real varietal grace.

Tasting notes

Fresh red cherry, wild strawberry, and a delicate forest floor note rise on the nose over a soft edge of vanilla oak. The palate is silky and medium-bodied, with fine, refined tannins carrying red-fruit weight, a whisper of baking spice, and a gentle savory earthiness. It finishes long and clean, with a red-fruit note that lingers and a subtle mineral grip.

Food pairing

It pours naturally with roast duck, grilled salmon, herb chicken, mushroom risotto, and mid-week meat courses. It is just as comfortable with hard cheeses or at a Yom Tov brunch.
