Baron Edmond de Rothschild Rimapere Sauvignon Blanc (750ml)

The Baron Edmond de Rothschild estate in Marlborough is called Rimapere, which is Maori for 'five arrows', after the Rothschild crest. This is a single-vineyard Sauvignon Blanc that carries the Rapaura signature.

Tasting notes

The colour is pale gold, with slightly green reflections. It shows pink grapefruit, ripe lemon and kiwi, with hints of freshly cut grass. In the mouth it is crisp and light- to medium-bodied, with golden berries, kiwi and juicy grapefruit, and medium-plus acidity drives the finish.

Pairing

Serve with sushi, oysters, herbed white fish, goat cheese, or summer salads.
