Padis Vineyards Brilliance Napa Valley (750ml)
- In stock
- Mevushal
- Kosher for Passover
Brilliance is the flagship red of Padis Vineyards, a Cabernet Sauvignon based blend hand selected from Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grown on the family's hillside estate in Napa Valley. It is made by Ernie Weir, the winemaker behind Hagafen Cellars and one of the few people producing kosher, mevushal wine from Napa grown fruit.
Mood: Opulent, velvety, celebratory.
Tasting notes
The nose is bright and generous, with the ripe dark fruit of Napa Cabernet lifted by the spice that Syrah brings to the blend. On the palate it is opulent and velvety, full bodied without losing its freshness. The finish is long and multi-faceted, showing something new with each sip.
Food pairing
Built for the centerpiece of a Yom Tov table: standing rib roast, braised short ribs, slow cooked brisket or lamb chops off the grill. It is mevushal, so it pours just as well at a catered simcha or a sheva brachos.
