Odem Mountain Volcanic Cabernet Sauvignon (750ml)

On the northern Golan, at over 1,000 meters, Odem Mountain grows its fruit in volcanic basalt soil, and the cold nights there give it remarkable concentration. The Volcanic Cabernet is the winery's calling card. It is structured, mineral-driven, and unmistakably highland Israeli.

Mood: Mineral, dark, structured.

Tasting notes

Blackberry, cassis, wet stone, and a curl of pipe tobacco. Firm and full-bodied, showing layered dark fruit, graphite minerality, and a solid frame of tannin. Dry, long, and gently smoky, with a volcanic signature that lingers.

Food pairing

Made for grilled ribeye, slow-cooked brisket, or a rich cholent on Shabbos. It is also a beautiful match for aged hard cheeses.
