A classic from Piedmont, Luzzatto Moscato d'Asti is a sweet, lightly fizzy white. It is 100% Moscato at just 5.5% ABV, the joyful, low-commitment bubbles that Asti perfected a century ago. It is mevushal, for the Shabbos dessert crowd.

Tasting Notes
The color is pale straw, and the fizz is delicate. The nose is pure Moscato, with orange blossom, honeysuckle, ripe peach and a whisper of ripe pear. On the palate it runs from off-dry to sweet, showing tropical fruit, gentle citrus and a soft mineral finish. It ends cleanly sweet, light and refreshing.
Food Pairing
It was made for tropical fruit tart, panna cotta, tiramisu, or sponge cake. It is gorgeous too at Kiddush with rugelach, for a sheva brachos toast, or with a fresh fruit platter at Chol HaMoed.
