"A pink kiddush wine with no fuss. It has light strawberry and a whisper of sweetness, and it should be chilled cold and passed around. Pour it at a big table where the wine should not need any thought."
Tasting notes
The color is light salmon, and the nose brings red apple, watermelon, and strawberry. Semi-dry and light-bodied on the palate, it has soft berry fruit and a touch of white peach. It finishes short, clean, and easy.
Food pairing
This is a workhorse for kiddush. At a Shabbos shalom zachor or seudah shlishit it goes with challah, gefilte fish, cold cuts, salad platters, and mild dairy. It is comfortable at the picnic table too.
