The color is bright ruby. The nose is savory and layered, with black and white pepper, nutmeg, and clove over a caramel oak signature, which is the spicy Mediterranean fingerprint of the Jezreel terroir. The peppery weight comes from Syrah, the savory mid-palate density from Carignan, and the deep color and herbal lift from Argaman, a uniquely Israeli grape. The body is medium-to-full, and the mevushal heating softens the rounded tannin without costing it character. The finish is long and delightful. This is the Israeli-grape blend that drinks like a boutique bottle.
