Jerusalem Wineries, the only winery operating inside Israel's capital, makes the King's Cellar Rosé. This semi-dry Merlot-Shiraz rosé comes from the Judean Plains. It is fruity, light pink and mevushal, and it is certified l'mehadrin for Passover and the rest of the year.

Our sommelier says
When a July Shabbos lunch table needs something friendly and cold, this is the rose. It is semi-dry and mevushal and gets in nobody's way. The salads and grilled fish do the work while it simply keeps the glasses full.
Tasting notes
Raspberry, strawberry and citrus blossom, with a lifted floral lift. Semi-dry and medium-bodied, with soft acidity, red berry fruit, and only a touch of perceived sweetness. Bright and clean, and just barely sweet as it closes.
Food pairing
Grilled salmon, the salad course, grilled vegetables, summer fruit, brunch spreads, or herb-dressed couscous.
