Herzog Special Reserve Russian River Chardonnay (750ml)

This Russian River Chardonnay comes from a cool climate and is fermented and aged twelve months in French and American oak. It is terroir-driven and Mevushal, a bright spine for a long Shabbos meal that opens with fish.

Mood: Citrus, toast, cool morning.

Tasting notes

White peach, lime zest and chamomile, plus a top note of tropical fruit above toasty vanilla oak. The body is medium and the acidity bright, with lemon curd, ripe pear, and soft oak spice carried on a creamy mid-palate. Lifted and clean, with citrus and a vanilla fade that is gentle.

Veal piccata, grilled salmon, roasted chicken, or grilled vegetables.
