Hayotzer Special Edition Cabernet Sauvignon (750ml)
- In stock
- Mevushal
- Kosher for Passover
Winemaker Philippe Lichtenstein makes Hayotzer's Special Edition Cabernet from Upper Galilee fruit, with eighteen months in oak. It is mevushal and carries a double-cert that any serious table will recognize.
Mood: The simcha that wants a serious mevushal Cab and refuses to drop the wine quality just because the waiter is pouring. Sheva brachos, bar mitzvah lunch.
Tasting notes
Dark berry and ripe blackcurrant, gentle spice, soft vanilla. Full in body, with rounded tannin, integrated oak, and a core of ripe fruit. A long close, gently spicy and led by fruit.
Food pairing
Serve with ribeye, lamb chops, beef brisket, or hard cheese (after the wait). It suits Friday-night simchas and sheva brachos.
