This is the named flagship of Ventura, a Bordeaux-style blend for which the winery holds back its top barrels.

Our sommelier says
The color is a dense, deep ruby-purple. The layered nose gives blackcurrant, dark plum and cedar, plus a thread of graphite and tobacco that points to Bordeaux varieties grown on Judea & Samaria limestone. It is structured and full on the palate, the tannin is fine, and the mid-palate has a density that comes only from low-yield fruit and patient time in barrel. The finish is composed and long. It is made to drink now with serious food, and those who can wait may hold it in the cellar five-plus years.
Tasting notes
Blackcurrant and black plum, with tobacco, cedar and graphite. Full in body and oak-integrated, with fine structured tannin and a dense mid-palate. Age-worthy, layered and long.
Food pairing
Lamb shoulder, standing rib roast, braised short ribs, or a Yom Tov seudah worthy of the cellar bottle.
