Distillerie des Moisans blended this Napoleon-grade cognac specifically to stand up to a cigar, so it is fuller, richer, and rounder than a standard VSOP. It is OU-P certified and ready for the post-meal table.

Mood: Walnut, leather, smoke.

Tasting notes

Toasted walnut, dried apricot and leather, with a hint of pipe tobacco. It is round and full-bodied, showing caramelized fruit, baking spice and light cocoa before a warming finish. That finish is long and warming, ending on oak, dried fruit, and gentle spice.

Food pairing

Pour it neat in a snifter alongside a cigar, or have it with dark chocolate at the end of a Yom Tov meal.
