Tasting notes
The glass opens on ripe black cherry and plum, with a soft note of dried herbs. On the palate it is medium-bodied and smooth, with gentle spice, red-fruit sweetness, and soft tannins, so it stays easy to drink deep into the meal. A short, warm, clean finish keeps it inviting with a wisp of vanilla oak.
Food pairing
It fits naturally with roast chicken, cholent, pulled brisket, grilled meats, and Sephardic rice dishes. A lighter dairy pasta bake suits it too.
