Cincoro Reposado Tequila (750ml)

Cincoro Reposado comes from the five-founder brand anchored by Jordan, and it is the tequila they rest for eight to ten months. It starts as 100% Weber blue agave from Jalisco and then takes a long rest in French oak wine barrels and American whiskey barrels, which give it structure and gold color.

Mood: Round, oaked, top-shelf sipper.

Tasting notes

It is amber-gold, with aromas of toasted oak, dried orange peel, caramel, and cooked agave. On the palate it is smooth and medium-full, showing honey, vanilla bean, agave sweetness, and a light char note that comes from the whiskey barrels. The finish is warm and long, with spice that lingers.

Best served

Drink it over one large ice cube, neat in a snifter, or in a top-shelf Old Fashioned made with orange bitters. For a Purim bar it is great in a smoky mezcal-style margarita too.
