Garrus is Sacha Lichine's flagship at Chateau d'Esclans, a single-vineyard rose from Grenache vines nearly a century old, fermented and aged entirely in new French oak. It sits at the summit of the Provence rose movement and is one of the few luxury rosés kosher wine drinkers can actually put on the seder table.

Mood: Regal. Layered. Serious.

Our sommelier says
The rose that made everyone stop pretending pink wine was only for summer.

Tasting notes

The nose is quiet and complex, with white peach, blood orange, wild strawberry, and a subtle wisp of oak smoke. The palate is textured and layered, carrying stone fruit, dried herbs, and a saline mineral edge over an almost creamy weight from the barrel work. The finish is long, savory, and structured, with soft tannins and a whisper of vanilla oak that lingers.

Food pairing

Made for the finest Yom Tov meals: sesame-crusted salmon, herbed roast chicken, langoustines, roast veal, or a full Shabbos cheese course. Cellar-worthy over 5-7 years.
