Casa Al Vento Aria Chianti Classico DOCG (750ml)

Casa Al Vento's Aria is a 100% Sangiovese Chianti Classico DOCG grown at Borgo Casa Al Vento in Gaiole in Chianti, aged twelve months in barriques and another six in bottle. Kosher from the 2021 harvest forward and a rare classical Tuscan kosher find.

Tasting notes

The nose opens with red cherry, dried rose, and a hint of sweet spice over a light savory edge. The palate is dry, medium-bodied, and structured, with red-fruit lift, dried herbs, and a fine dusty tannin that carries Sangiovese's signature grip. The finish is long and pleasantly warm, with an earthy note and a whisper of tobacco.

Food pairing

A classical partner for pasta bolognese, roast lamb, herbed chicken, and Shabbos brisket. Also holds up to aged cheeses and slow-cooked stews.
