Bat Shlomo Betty's Cuvee (750ml)

Named for the family matriarch, this is the flagship of Bat Shlomo, a Cabernet-dominant Bordeaux blend that spends twenty months in new French oak. It comes from the historic Baron Rothschild village on Mount Carmel.

Tasting notes

Ripe blackberry, cassis, sweet vanilla and cedar, plus a hint of dark chocolate. The body is full, the tannin firm and fine-grained, with prominent oak spice and layered dark fruit. Structured and long, and the cassis and cedar hold all the way through.

Food pairing

Lamb shoulder, standing rib roast, slow-braised short ribs, or any Yom Tov table that calls for a serious red.
