Moscato and lychee were made for each other, since both lean floral and tropical. Canning them is what finally got my cousins, who love single-serve, to drink real Italian wine.
Tasting notes
Out of the can jump fresh lychee and white rose, with ripe muscat grape as the backbone. It is softly sweet and gently effervescent, and the lychee fruit melts into honeyed peach and a snap of citrus. The finish is clean and short, which makes a refill dangerously easy.
Food pairing
Made for sushi platters, spicy mezze, soft cheeses, or a dessert of berries and fresh melon. It is just as much at home at a Yom Tov Kiddush as at a poolside bridal shower.
