Alexander Grand Reserve (750ml)

Yoram Shalem named his boutique Upper Galilee estate, Alexander Winery, for his father, and built it around a serious Bordeaux program. Its flagship is the Grand Reserve, a blend that is aged long, worth cellaring, and released only in strong vintages.

Tasting notes

Cassis, blackberry, cedar, and cocoa, with a whisper of leather. The dark fruit is concentrated, the tannin is fine-grained, and the core is warm with oak and earth. It is long and structured, and it evolves quietly with time in the cellar.

Open it for a Yom Tov standing rib roast, an aged rib steak, or a slow-braised short rib.
