Old Elk Straight Wheat Whiskey (750ml)

Old Elk Straight Wheat Whiskey uses one of the highest wheat mash bills on the market, 95% soft red winter wheat and 5% malted barley. It's aged at least 5-6 years, longer than most wheat whiskeys, and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).

The nose brings soft honey, fruit, cherry, vanilla, and oak; the palate adds peach, dried fig, and cedar. It's a smoother, sweeter style than a typical bourbon.

Old Elk is a Fort Collins, Colorado distillery founded in 2013, with whiskey-making led by veteran distiller Greg Metze. The wheat whiskey has won gold medals from the Beverage Testing Institute and other spirits competitions.
