Old Elk Sour Mash Reserve Small Batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey (750ml)

Old Elk Sour Mash Reserve is a small batch straight bourbon from Fort Collins, Colorado, built on the distillery's high-malt mash bill (51% corn, 34% malted barley, 15% rye) and traditional sour mash fermentation. Each batch is a blend of a limited number of barrels aged around 6 years, bottled at 52.5% ABV (105 proof).

Expect an amber color, aromas of cherry, almond, and brown sugar, with dark stone fruit and baking spice on the palate and a long, leathery finish.

Old Elk was founded in 2013 in Fort Collins, Colorado, with whiskey-making led by veteran distiller Greg Metze.
