Moses Arak (700ml)

Arak distilled in Finland, which nobody expects — the label says Product of Finland plainly. Aniseed spirit that turns cloudy white the moment you add water, in a frosted bottle with Moses on the front.

Mood: Aniseed, clean, striking.

Tasting notes

Sweet aniseed and liquorice. Clean and dry across the palate with the anise carrying all the way through. A long, cooling, liquorice finish.

Food pairing

Mezze, hummus, grilled fish and salty cheese. The classic table spirit for a long Middle Eastern lunch.
