Milam & Greene Straight Rye Whiskey, Port Cask Finished (750ml)

Milam & Greene's Straight Rye Whiskey begins as Indiana rye whiskey, then is brought to the distillery's Blanco, Texas facility to finish in used Port wine casks. The mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley, bottled at 94 proof.

The Texas climate speeds maturation and shapes the finishing character. Expect a ruby color, aromas of cinnamon, chocolate, and dark fruit (black currant, blackberry), and a rich, velvety palate with a long, warming finish.
