Clase Azul Plata is the unaged expression, bottled in a hand-blown glass decanter so you can see straight through to the spirit. No barrel, no color, nowhere to hide. Just Weber blue agave slow-cooked in brick ovens and left to speak for itself.

Mood: clean, bright, honest.

Tasting notes

Fresh cooked agave, citrus peel and a cool herbal note. Crisp and clean on the tongue, with green pepper, lime zest and a soft mineral edge. Short, bright and peppery, finishing clean rather than hot.

Food pairing

This is the one for cocktails. A margarita or paloma made with Plata tastes like a different drink entirely. Served cold and neat it cuts beautifully through grilled meat, fish, guacamole or anything off the barbecue.
